teun voeten photography

In 1979 Voeten started, as an exchange student in New Jersey, to pick up photography with a simple point and shoot camera. Immediately he was grabbed by the medium.

While studying anthropology, Voeten learned the profession by assisting his uncle, the renowned Dutch architectural photographer Sybolt Voeten.

While still doing architectural photography up to this day, Voeten became a passionate documentary photographer, covering wars and conflicts worldwide.
